Shooting in the Automaticity Part of Your Brain

When what you do when you are actually shooting is in the automaticity part of the brain, you will be able to concentrate on the really important things that are in your control.

Heart rate too fast? Then breathe deeply to slow it down.
Adrenaline spike? Then slowly exhale through tighter lips.

DHEA hormone is released by turning everything into a positive reaction or a learning opportunity. In turn, this reduces cortisol, which clouds your thinking and reactions.

The pace between pairs or between the stations must be steady and in your control. If you are not aware, you will speed up between the pairs and between the stations. And if you lose it there, then that is where you will learn to control it!
