Seeing the Connection (Part Three)

It's what you do off the course that gets you there sooner.

Brian said something in a clinic yesterday that stopped me in my tracks. "You must separate yourself from the gun." Brilliant!

The number of times you mount the gun without looking at the bead, but looking behind where the gun is pointed will determine just how quickly you'll be able to know where the gun is pointed without having to look at it.

That right, I said it.

Every time you mount the gun, you should see the target behind where the barrel is pointed.

As soon as the paradigm in your brain shifts from getting the gun in front of the bird to seeing the bird behind the barrel as you mount the gun, you will begin to be able to control the bird from in front and stop chasing the bird.
